If you’re passionate about travelling, Seville is one place that you should definitely take into account. In order to ensure you get the most out of your trip though, you need to acquire all relevant information about your destination. So without further ado, here is a short overview on the town of Seville.

Located in Andalucía, Seville is an important city of Spain. In fact, this city is the 4th largest one in terms of population, being a large metropolitan that boasts of trade and financial activities. Location wise, this city is situated on the banks of River Guadalquivir, a river that has helped shape the history of the city.

As a tourist, there are many different places you can choose to visit whilst staying in Seville. You will notice that the city has a rich heritage and diverse cultural background, pretty evident if you consider the large numbers of monuments, towers, museums, and even palaces that you can visit. The legendary Cathedral of Seville is one of the largest cathedrals in the world, a must-see for any tourist visiting Seville. The cathedral covers a significantly large area, and its premises are perceived as being the last resting place of the renowned Christopher Columbus.

You can easily make your way towards Seville by means of plane, train or car, and once you find yourself within the town’s borders, you can choose between the various types of transportation available, less conventional ones which including scooters and elegant horse-drawn carriages.
